Camperships
Camp Fire Georgia has available funds designated for camperships (grants) to help boys and girls attend camp. Each year Camp Fire Georgia raises funds through donations by individuals, organizations, and businesses to provide financial assistance for children whose families are financially unable to send them to camp.
-
Any youth having completed 1st grade may apply for a campership. Camperships are awarded based on need and available funds. Camperships are available for day camp (Camp Owanyake) or for resident camp (Camp Toccoa).
-
The amount awarded is based on each family’s needs and the availability of funds. The amount of each campership will not exceed 50% of the tuition for a one-week session. The campership does not include trading post money, fees for email packages, or any other items besides camp tuition.
