Packing for overnight camp doesn’t have to be overwhelming. Whether it’s your camper’s first time at Camp Toccoa or they’ve been before, having the essentials on hand helps set them up for a smooth and comfortable experience. From practical items like sturdy shoes and a reusable water bottle to the comforts of home like a favorite pillow, here’s what to keep in mind as you get ready:
Clothing & Bedding
7–10 pairs of shorts
7–10 shirts
2–3 pairs of jeans
10–12 pairs of socks
10–12 pairs of underwear
Pajamas
Bathing suit
Jacket or sweatshirt
Raincoat or poncho
Laundry bag
Twin bedding (required)
Sleeping bag (for outdoor use)
Pillow with pillowcase
Shoes
2 pairs of closed-toe shoes (required)

Important Reminders
Please do not send electronics, valuables, or anything your child would be upset to lose. Camp is a chance to unplug, be present, and focus on the experience. To make sure everything makes it home, label every item clearly with your camper’s name—including clothing, shoes, water bottles, and gear.
